The Forge

The Forge has a working blacksmith, Michael Budd, who uses only traditional forging techniques with the aid of the hand pumped bellows, hammer and anvil to create both contemporary and traditional work of his own design. This ranges from sculptor to tools, gates to candlesticks, fire tools to signs. He supplies his work to the craft shop located on site at Sligo Folk Park as well as local shops and galleries and is available for private commissions.
